Dr. Tera Polson

Dr. Polson was born and raised in Chicago, and attended the University of Notre Dame prior to completing medical school in Des Moines, Iowa. She met her Texan husband during that time, and moved to Houston with him to complete her pediatric residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Polson chose to become a pediatrician because she loves working with children, and is honored to have the opportunity to walk alongside them and their families as they grow into adulthood, and educate them about their health while advocating for their overall wellbeing. Her special interests include helping new parents navigate through parenthood, nutrition, sleep hygiene, mental health, and preventative care. In her free time, Dr. Polson enjoys spending time with family, visiting the Houston Zoo and Farmer’s Market, Notre Dame football, cooking, and running. She looks forward to meeting you and your family!
